Universal Blast Furnace Gas Expander
Blast Furnace Gas Expander (BFGE) is intended to use excessive pressure of the blast furnace gas formed during the cast iron smelting in the blast furnaces of metallurgic plants.
BFGE allows to generate the pollution-free electric power without burning of fuel gas.
BFGE effectively uses the exhaust of the blast furnaces having various capacities: 1500, 1700, 1800 and 2000m3.
It is possible to use BFGE with the furnaces of higher capacity (with partial use of the blast furnace gas or by using of two BFGEs).
BFGE is implemented into technological scheme of metallurgic plant according to the diagram that follows:
