Combined cycle gas-steam units
are focused on highest possible
effectiveness of power generation.
Heat of exhaust is used for steam generation in waste heat recovery boiler.
The steam is supplied to separate steam turbine (ST) coupled with its own alternator. Based on its long-term background in design, development and production of gas turbines Zorya-Mashproekt offers line of combined cycle power plants of range 13 - 325 MW and efficiency of 45 - 52%.
Two basic configurations for them are:
CC1 (1+1) - one gas turbine
with its steam boiler plus one steam turbine each of them operates on its own electric generator;
CC2 (2+1) - two gas turbines
with two steam boilers plus single steam turbine that uses steam of two boilers,
each of them operates on its own alternator
